Zoom Etiquette for Staff:

1. Show up to the zoom at 8:15am so that there is time for management and staff to discuss the day’s schedule prior to individuals getting on.
   
2. Be aware of your surroundings- you do not want to share inappropriate living situations with anyone.
3. Find a quiet space, without distractions- this will make it easier for the individuals to focus on what you are presenting.
4. Your video needs to remain on during the zoom programing, you are being paid for your interaction with the programing day not the attendance to the zoom.
5. Adjust the camera to be at or around eye level if possible- especially take note of the angle of your laptop screen if using a built in camera.
6. Do not talk over each other, be patient and wait your turn
7. Please dress appropriately, like you would for work.
8. Stay seated and stay present- again the individuals love to see you!!!
9. No eating during zoom programing unless you are on a scheduled lunchbreak. Those with food issues can still have those issues virtually!

• Mute your microphone unless you are talking it will assist with feedback and internet connection.
• Last of all—-HAVE FUN!

Staff Snow Day Virtual Details:

In the event Opportunity Works CT has to close due to snow or other circumstances, DSO & GSE & Transitional offer Virtual Programming through ZOOM during normal Day Service hours! The information below is for your reference so please keep it at home if you are called to assist.

1. We will be providing a virtual program during snow days to keep programing continuity on days we close for snow or other circumstances.
2. If OWC is closed because of snow, ZOOM presentations will be offered to ALL participants beginning at 8:30am on both of our ZOOM channels.
3. Staff will be identified by their manager if they will be utilized for any of the virtual programming. Staff that wish to be included MUST attend the meeting scheduled in November to be given the assignments and expectations of virtual programing. If staff have issues connecting to ZOOM/WiFi while in their residence, please make your manager is aware and you will be exempt from participation.
4. Please note our Policy 9.7 Inclement Weather Policy will remain the same regarding closings.
5. All required documentation for activities during snow days must be completed the next business day as it is done for your program.
